Wayside Organics – an organic smallholding set in the village of Oving, at the base of the South Downs in West Sussex. We specialise in salad crops, soft & top fruit and a wide range of vegetables all grown to the standards set down by the Soil Association: our organic integrity is assured. We supply to all aspects of the organic market, from wholesale to farm shops, box schemes, caterers & delicatessens, to retail including our own box scheme and farm gate sales. We have recently added an Online Shop to our website so you can order online if you prefer.

North East Organic Growers – a worker’s co-operative based in the village of Bomarsund, near Bedlington, twelve miles north of Newcastle upon Tyne. Existing since 1995, we grow organic vegetables on our twelve acre site, and run a “box scheme”, which is a cost-effective way of buying organically-certified seasonal vegetables and fruit on a regular basis.

 Our box scheme supplies customers throughout the North-East of England.

Unicorn Grocery – Based in Chorlton, South Manchester, Unicorn offers an unbeatable range of affordable, fresh and wholesome food with an emphasis on organic, fair-trade and local produce. Our focus is on ingredients for tasty, interesting and really affordable cooking; produce that nourishes and isn’t laden with huge amounts of sugar, salt and additives.

 The food we choose to eat not only affects our health but in many ways shapes our whole world. From our unrivalled choice of organic fruit & veg to our daily fresh bread, ever-expanding deli range, organic alcohol and store cupboard staples, we aim to cultivate stronger connections between our food, its producers, and all of us who eat it.

Paired with our values, our quality and competitive pricing have set us apart from the competition, and made us one of the UK’s largest and most successful wholefood groceries – we’re now the size of a metro-format supermarket. Organic North Wholesalers is a co-operative formed by a group of northern organic businesses in the early 1990s and remains member owned. Despite our relatively low profile, we have supplied millions of £s worth of organic vegetables to box schemes for many years. We are the longest established and largest organic fruit and vegetable wholesaler in Greater Manchester, the North West and beyond, supplying businesses in Lancashire, Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Cumbria and Scotland. We are based at the Smithfield Wholesale Market in East Manchester, a hub connected by chilled overnight transport to all the horticultural areas of the UK. Our registered name is Organic 2000 Limited but we feel that our trading name, Organic North Wholesalers, describes our business much better.

 Our aims are to support regional growers wherever possible and the independent organic movement. Organic North Wholesalers has always been Soil Association registered and has close links with organic growers across the North and wider UK, supported by European and global imports when absolutely necessary. We pride ourselves on paying growers on time and try to promote seasonal surpluses.

Goodness Veg – Strensall has developed and grown into a 7 acre organic farm near York. They grow a wide range of organic vegetables, salads and herbs all year round. Offering traditional and more unusual produce to get the taste buds going! We also have a fruit orchard, soft fruits, Chickens for organic eggs and pigs for delicious organic pork! They are trying to achieve a sustainable system by combining many aspects of farming.

 They sell their delicious produce through a veg box scheme, delivering in York and surrounding villages. They offer many different sizes and styles to cater for all families and preferences.

Organic Pantry, Tadcaster – welcome to the Organic Pantry, unlike many organic suppliers we are proud to be a family run organic farm based at Newton Kyme near Tadcaster, North Yorkshire. The Watson family have farmed the 300 acres at St Helens for over 100 years. If you come and visit the farm you can find both Jonnie and Fanny working alongside their children to preserve the plant and wildlife for future generations.

Our organic produce has been fully certified since 1999 and is available through our Box Scheme, Farmer’s Markets and our own on-site farm shop. We also have a thriving wholesale business and can supply all our fruit and vegetables on a larger scale. We will deliver straight to your door throughout the North of England, Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Northumberland. We also offer an extensive organic shop online with Organic Boxes, Organic Vegetables, Organic Fruit, Organic Meat, Wholefoods and Organic Food.

Nash Nursery – run an organic vegetable box scheme as well as selling our produce to the wholesale markets and through our family farm shop Wingham Country Market.

Ripple Farm Organics – is a small organic, horticultural farm of 14 acres situated in the Stour Valley at Crundale, Kent between Ashford and Canterbury. Our fields slope up towards the North Downs, giving us light, chalky soil. This free draining soil, blessed by the warmer climate of the Southeast, produces vegetables of great taste and quality. As well as our Home Farm, we also rent a Victorian Walled Garden at Olantigh near Wye and fields covering 100 acres below Wye Crown (formerley part of the Wye College Farm).

Ripple Farm has been certified Organic since 1989 and is certified organic by the Soil Association. The farm itself is essentially a market garden producing a wide range of vegetables, salad crops, herbs and some soft fruit. With this produce, Ripple Farm Organics runs an East Kent vegetable box scheme; sells at Wye and Whitstable Farmers’ Markets in Kent, and Stoke Newington Farmers’ Market in London; and supplies specialist organic/wholefood shops, Growing Communities and other box schemes and home deliveries in London as well as shops, cafes and pubs in Kent.
